Cara Warren

Piedmont Virginia Community College 

Cara Warren is a theater major at Piedmont Virginia Community College or PVCC with plans to graduate by the end of summer 2018. During high school, she attended classes at the community college and registered students to vote. In summer 2016, she interned for Jane Dittmar’s Congressional campaign. There, Cara learned even more about the political process and the importance of voting. Presently, she is a student government representative for the LGBT club and the Virginia 21 Club at PVCC. She is also starting a Spread the Vote club to help people obtain voter IDs. Cara looks forward to helping many more people get out and vote!

Christina Lasek

Piedmont Virginia Community College

Christina Lasek is a native of Washington, DC. After attending Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, she continued her academic career at Virginia Tech. She transferred to Piedmont Virginia Community College in Charlottesville, VA to pursue an academic career studying the political Philosophy, Policy, and Law major at the University of Virginia for the fall of 2018. She interned at multiple law and lobbying firms, including the American Continental Group, a prestigious lobbying firm in Washington, DC. Her interests include practicing yoga, hiking, running, and cooking with her roommate. She is excited to join the Campus Vote Project Team!

Robert Simeone

Virginia Commonwealth University

Robert Simeone was born in Charlottesville, VA. His work as a Virginia Democracy Fellow continues his political interests that started in high school when he found our democratic system was his calling. He finds it crucial to interact with educational institutions’ populations as they are a hub for the future direction of every country.
