All Georgia voters can vote by mail without an excuse.

Here’s what you need to do to vote from home this election season:

1. Request Your Mail-In Ballot: Absentee ballot applications must be received by your county clerk by October 25. To request an absentee ballot, you must provide your driver’s license or identification card number or the last four digits of your Social Security number. If you do not have a Georgia driver’s license or identification card, you must affirm this on the application and provide a photo or a copy of one of the following forms of ID:

• Any valid state or federal issued photo ID, including a free Voter ID Card issued by your county registrar’s office or by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)
• Valid U.S. passport
